BACKGROUND

I started ShoutOutToHelpOut in July 2020, season one of the global pandemic. I started by sharing links to graduates websites on all my socials. Great, but twitter has the attention span of milli-seconds, I decided we needed an online directory.

Fast forward 12 months to August 2021 and we launched our website, ShoutOutToHelpOut. Currently featuring over 220 graduates from across the UK spanning twenty-two disciplines. Searchable by location or discipline, making it easy to find talent wherever you are.

FOR GRADUATES

Graduates complete a simple Google Form, including their name, Linkedin, website, University, relocation, an interesting fact about themselves and one image to best represent their work. It’s simple and free.

FOR INDUSTRY

Search and filter talent by discipline, location, oldest>latest, Alphabetical making it easier to find talent nearest to you.

FOR EVERYONE — PODCAST

We launched our first series of the #ShoutOutToHelpOut Podcast. Available on Google, Apple and Spotify featuring creative team Charlotte and Lucy from Grey London. Creative partners Mary Buzbee and Lauren Meadows from Kansas City, Copy Chief Vikki Ross, recruiters Emma Head and Anna Smith and Norwegian-based, Polish born Master Puppeteer Dominika Sira.

Series two features Paul Mellor (Mellor&Smith), former Adland turned client side, Clare Petzel, Murray Allan (CD at Grey London), former Tomato founder, designer, artist and author Graham Wood and force du jour Jo Wallace (Global ECD, Media Monks).
